looking at my coffee cup today at work and daydreaming. Time for a vacation. This one was fun with Taylor and my best friend Karen. Basically a road trip but fun:)

4-5-11 A nice gift

I got a nice little surprise today. An adult that I have gotten to know with my talent show gave me this box for my desk. She decorated it and knew that I was learning how to quilt. I was really touched by her kindness. I hope I make a difference in her life too~

4-4-11 Another Quilt Pretty in Pink

I finished this pretty quilt in record time. I wanted a quick project so I could practice the free motion quilting. I am surprised I love it so much.

4-2-11 Rally day

Busy day at work and another big event -
Love my job but I love it when these things are over too. Dexter and Memphis came to see me. That was totally cool!

4-1-11 Inspiration

I love this clay piece that Taylor made several years ago. I like the colors- I am inspired to make a quilt using these colors. How fun to remember Taylor that way!
